Sullivan County Public Health Employees Are Part of Ongoing Influential Study

Liberty, NY – A study just published in a scholarly health journal included significant participation from the Sullivan County Department of Public Health.

“Myself and Epidemiologist Haley Motola have been working on this multi-phase study for years, so it’s especially gratifying to see a portion of that study published in Heliyon, a peer-reviewed health journal,” acknowledged Deputy Public Health Director Jill Hubert-Simon.

Motola and Hubert-Simon contributed to the writing and editing of the article.

Child Support Unit Provides List of Payment Options

Liberty, NY – Starting February 27, 2026, Sullivan County’s Child Support Collection Unit will no longer accept in-office payments.

“There are plenty of ways to securely and conveniently make child support payments,” notes Division of Health & Human Services Commissioner John Liddle. “Making payments online, through the mail or in-person at participating retailers also frees up our staff to focus on ensuring those funds quickly benefit children and their caregivers.”

First Sunday Concerts Return to County Museum!

Hurleyville, NY – After their wildly successful Groundhog Day concert, the Frederick Cook Society is thrilled to bring more live music back to the Sullivan County Museum stage the first Sunday in March.

Headlining the afternoon is the Oxford Station Band, a Hudson Valley favorite founded by legendary singer and guitarist Leon Swyka. The band delivers a high-energy blend of folk rock, classic country, and Americana that’s sure to get toes tapping.
