Monticello, NY – The Sullivan County Legislature will be accepting applications on an ongoing basis for the 2026 Legislative Discretionary Contract Program.
The County Legislature wishes to assist Sullivan County and County-oriented entities with achieving goals such as a public safety, public health, youth services, community development, economic development, environmental hazard mitigations and county beautification. Funds are limited and an applicant must demonstrate justification for any monies provided to achieve one of the above goals. The applicant must be a not-for-profit agency or civic organization operating within Sullivan County that is not part of County government.
The application form is intended to keep the process simple for applicants. The form is also available as a fillable PDF to enable online submissions.
The application must be completed and submitted in one of the following ways:
Complete the NEW application on-line via fillable PDF on the Sullivan County website, https://www.sullivanny.gov (look for “Apply for Discretionary Funding” under Helpful Links or the County Legislature’s page) and submit application and supporting documentation as email attachments to Senior Budget Analyst Michael D’Auria at Michael.DAuria@sullivanny.gov.
Mail or hand-deliver the printed application and supporting documentation to the Office of the Sullivan County Division of Management & Budget, c/o Michael D’Auria, County Government Center, 100 North Street, Monticello, NY 12701.
There is no deadline to apply – applications will be accepted on a rolling basis throughout 2026, so long as funds are available to be disbursed and utilized in 2026. Applications will be reviewed by the County Legislature as they are received.
