Monticello, NY – Sullivan County Manager Joshua Potosek has reactivated a State of Emergency for the towns of Forestburgh, Highland, Lumberland and Tusten in southern Sullivan County effective immediately until 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 4, 2018, due to significant ongoing impacts from yesterday's nor’easter.

Monday, March 5, 2018, due to significant ongoing impacts from Friday's nor’easter.

Tuesday, March 6, 2018, due to significant ongoing impacts from this past Friday's nor’easter.
 

Monticello, NY – Sullivan County Manager Josh Potosek is urging residents to seek warm shelter prior to – and to stay off the roads during – tomorrow's anticipated nor'easter.
“This storm will be substantially similar to Friday's blizzard which walloped Sullivan County and left many of us in the dark,” Potosek advised. “We are actively preparing for power outages, closed roads, and property damage. I ask that residents make their own preparations without delay.”

Monticello, NY - Sullivan County Public Safety Commissioner Rick Sauer announced that as of 5 p.m. today, Friday, March 9, the County EOC (Emergency Operations Center) has closed. That is to allow members that have been staffing the EOC, some of whom still don’t have power at their houses, to tend to their families and needs.
