This brush fire along Perry Road in Bethel required a response by the White Lake Fire Department on Saturday, April 14. Investigators believe it was caused by open burning. Hunter Lake is in the distance.
Monticello, NY – After several brush fires in the past week, Sullivan County Fire Coordinator John Hauschild is re-emphasizing the fact that a burn ban is in effect through May 15.
The County Clerk’s Office requires appointments for submission of new pistol applications, expedited gun amendments, pistol co-registrations and new passports applications, all others can be served on a walk-in basis.

Sullivan County International Airport (MSV) is located in White Lake, close to the main villages of Liberty and Monticello and also to the site of the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival, now home to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.

All the programs sponsored or directly operated by this office are designed to give choices to older people, with the hope that through these choices they will be able to remain in their own homes and communities as long as possible.
