The National Grants Management Association  provides comprehensive grants management training and tools and resources and serves all levels of government, nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher education, and affiliated private sector organizations. 


GOVERNMENT AGENCIES

Grants.gov –  Provides a common website for federal agencies to post discretionary funding opportunities and for grantees to find and apply to them. The Grants.gov system houses information on over 1,000 grant programs and vets grant applications for federal grant making agencies.

Using the Grants.gov system makes it faster, easier and more cost effective for grant applicants to electronically interact with federal grant-making agencies. It also provides the following key benefits, among many others, to the grant community:

  • Helping the grant community learn more about available opportunities;
  • Facilitating interaction with the federal government;
  • Simplifying the grant application process to save applicants costs, time and hassle;
  • Making it easier to research and find federal grant opportunities;
  • Making electronic grant application processing easier; and
  • Providing a secure and reliable source to apply for federal grants.

 

System for Award Management (SAM)  - The official website of the U.S. government. You must have an active registration in SAM to do business with the Federal Government. SAM Registration is required in order to apply for funding and / or when entering into contracts with the Federal Government. There is no cost to use SAM. You can use SAM for FREE to:

  • Register to do business with the U.S. government
  • Update or renew your entity registration
  • Check status of an entity registration
  • Search for entity registration and exclusion records
  • Receive a Unique Entity Identity Number after registering
  • And Much More
