Monticello, NY – Bidders are welcome from now through October 28 on nearly 40 items – including assorted heavy equipment, trucks, containers, even a commercial refrigerator – up for auction by the Sullivan County Division of Public Works (DPW).
“There’s something to interest any bargain-hunter,” says District 7 Legislator and Public Works Committee Chair Joe Perrello. “I invite everyone to take a look and make a bid.”
Bidding on all lots includes a 10% buyer’s premium. Some items may be lightly used or in operable condition, but all are being sold as-is through Absolute Auctions and Realty, with a full catalog, including photos, at https://aarauctions.com/servlet/Search.do?auctionId=8009.
Individuals are also welcome to stop by the DPW’s Maplewood station, 745 Route 17B, Monticello, to preview any of the items on Monday, October 27 or Tuesday, October 28 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The auction closes on October 28, and payment is due by Friday, October 31 at 1 p.m. All lots are subject to seller approval. Invoices will be sent following approval of sale. Pickup will be by appointment only and must be completed by Wednesday, November 5 at 2 p.m.
