Neversink, NY – Sullivan County’s Division of Public Works will conduct a Public Informational Meeting to discuss the proposed replacement of Sullivan County Bridge No. 301 which carries BWS Rd. (CR 105B) over the Neversink River. This project is funded through the BridgeNY program.
The meeting will be held at the Neversink Fire Dept., 7486 State Route 55, Neversink, on Tuesday April 28, from 6-8 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to view preliminary project plans, learn about the proposed schedule and maintenance and protection of traffic during construction, and obtain comments from interested parties related to proposed project.
C&S Engineers, Inc., under contract with the County, is currently developing plans for this project following NYS Department of Transportation requirements. The project work being considered involves the removal and replacement of the existing three-span bridge and replacement with a single-span bridge structure. Planning and design work is scheduled for completion by the end of 2026, with anticipated construction starting in the spring of 2027.
