Monticello, NY – Brian P. Conaty, District Attorney of Sullivan County, announced the hiring of David Myers to the position of District Attorney Investigator.
Investigator Myers will join the office after a decorated career with the New York State Police. Investigator Myers started his career with the Orange County Sheriff’s office in 2001 and in 2005 started his career with the New York State Police as a uniformed Trooper and was promoted to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation in 2012 with the past nine years assigned as a Major Crimes Investigator. Investigator Myers brings to the office many years of experience and expertise in dealing with some of the most violent crimes that unfortunately occur in our county.
Conaty said: “Having Investigator Myers with his experience in the District Attorney’s Office is an asset for Sullivan County Law Enforcement and the county residents who we serve. I welcome him to our team.”
