Autumn Returns, and So Does Sullivan County's Fall Foliage Exhibit!

Manor Leaf by J. Watz

Monticello, NY – The Sullivan County Parks & Recreation Office once again welcomes photographs taken of the beautiful fall foliage at County parks and museums!

“We are accepting submissions now through November 30, 2025,” says Assistant Recreation Director Fiona Feltman. “The leaves are starting to change colors, and it’s a great time to go out and enjoy the crisp, cool fall air at our County parks!”

Photos chosen for the Exhibition will be on display in the Sullivan County Museum and Cultural Center in Hurleyville, with select photos featured in the Government Center in Monticello, throughout 2026.

Each photographer may submit up to three pieces, taken by the photographer. Participants can be any age or skill level, but anyone under age 18 must have parent/guardian permission. Submitted photos may be used in Sullivan County promotional materials.

Photographs must have been taken at the following Sullivan County park or museum:

 - D&H Canal Interpretive Center and Linear Park, Summitville

 - Fort Delaware Museum of Colonial History, Narrowsburg

 - Lake Superior State Park’s Beach Area & Dam Area, Bethel

 - Livingston Manor Covered Bridge Park, Livingston Manor

 - Minisink Battleground Park, Barryville

 - Stone Arch Bridge Historical Park, Kenoza Lake

 - Sullivan County Museum & Cultural Center, Hurleyville

Photos will be judged on composition, focus, use of light, and the artistic presentation of the subject.
