The Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Reimbursement Program was established by the Sullivan County Legislature in 2017 to encourage the development of a robust network of electric vehicle charging stations throughout the County. Local municipalities and public library districts are eligible to apply for reimbursement of up to 50% of the costs associated with the installation of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) for public use, with a maximum award of $5,000.
The Program is administered by the Office of Sustainable Energy. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and awards will be announced three times per year.
